  • Organization in Uncertain Worlds
  • 25-26 June 2026
  • Thoravej 29, Copenhagen, Denmark + Online

Special Focus & Annual Themes

The Organization Studies Research Network comes together around a common concern for, and a shared interest to explore, new possibilities in knowledge, culture and change management, within the broader context of the nature and future of organizations and their impact on society. We seek to build an epistemic community where we can make linkages across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network we are defined by our scope and concerns and motivated to build strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.

The Twenty-Sixth International Conference on Knowledge, Culture, and Change in Organizations calls for research addressing the following annual themes.

  • 2026 Special Focus—Organization in Uncertain Worlds
  • Theme 1: Organizational Knowledge
  • Theme 2: Institutional Structures
  • Theme 3: Publics and Collectivities
  • Theme 4: Organizational Design
