2022 Recipients

For each conference, a small number of Emerging Scholar Awards are given to outstanding graduate students and emerging scholars who have an active research interest in the conference themes. Emerging Scholars perform a critical role in the conference by chairing the parallel sessions, providing technical assistance in the sessions, and presenting their own research papers. The 2022 Emerging Scholar Award Recipients are as follows:

Gabriel Rached

Gabriel Rached

Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Dr. Gabriel Rached is researcher and Assistant Professor. He holds a PhD in International Political Economy (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) with his thesis concerning Multilateral Organizations and economic development. He carries out research and teaches on the topic of Global Governance and is involved with undergraduate and graduate activities. From 2016, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow in International Studies (Università degli Studi di Milano) conducting research into Global Shifts and the insertion of the emerging countries in the international arena. Since then, has been studying thematics related to the New World Order and contemporary changes in the international system.

Chen-Hao Huang

Chen-Hao Huang

National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan

Chen-Hao Huang serves as an adjunct lecturer in the Management Undergraduate Program and Department of Information Management at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech). He holds a doctorate and master's degree from Taiwan Tech. Regarding his research area, Chen-Hao is a mixed-method researcher and has extensive main path analysis and qualitative case research experience. Using mixed-method design methodologies, Chen-Hao's research dives deep into the various facets of Digital Transformation and Organizational Change.

Kotchaworn Chuymanee

Kotchaworn Chuymanee

Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Kotchaworn Chuymanee (Ph.D.) has been working in the Human Resource and Organization Development (HROD) field; including training and development, talent development and recruitment, career planning and development, performance management system, knowledge management (KM), and learning organization (LO) for more than 15 years. She is a consultant, trainer, coach, and senior officer in consulting firms, IT and electronics companies, public organizations, state enterprises, and other sectors.

After receiving her Ph.D. in Human Resource and Organization Development, she is a full-time lecturer at Lifelong Education department, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Her research/training/consulting areas are lifelong learning, HROD, KM & LO.

Caitlin Long

Caitlin Long PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant with almost a decade of clinical experience in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Oncology & Survivorship. She is currently working toward her PhD in Leadership at Alvernia University, with a research focus in burnout prevention, intervention, and overall well-being in the workplace. Caitlin is a dedicated wife, mother, dog and outdoors lover, certified yoga instructor. She is CEO and owner of her comprehensive wellness coaching & consulting company, Team Lifelong Wellness, LLC., which serves Pennsylvania and beyond. Having helped heal thousands in her career, Caitlin integrates her vast knowledge as an experienced health care provider into a revolutionary approach to TOTAL health, to build others up to be the strongest they can be from the inside out. Her mission is to empower others to be able to live their lives full of purpose and with no regrets.

Fatma Güneri

Dr. Fatma Güneri holds PhD in Marketing (2014, Institute of Business Administration, University of Lille, France), Executive MBA in Designing for social innovation and leadership (2016), Higher Research Degree in the creativity and innovation management (2018). Research engineer at HEMiSF4iRE, Lille Catholic University since 2017. She is a lecturer and thesis tutor in marketing and management at the faculties of Lille Catholic University, ISTC, JUNIA, IESEG and Skema, as well as a guest lecturer at the University of Toyo, Japan (2019-2020). Her current research topics concern the third places (fablabs, coworking spaces etc.), remote working and visualization of work space data. Recently, she is interested in students online learning.

Lyndsey McMahan

Lyndsey McMahan

Boston College, USA

Lyndsey McMahan, a graduate of University of Massachusetts-Boston, completed her PhD in Global Governance and Human Security in March 2021. Additionally, she holds a Master of Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelor of Art from Oklahoma State University. Lyndsey’s research explores how institutional norms within global health networks influence the adoption of organizational structures and processes by NGOs- and how adoption of best practices shapes the effectiveness of programs. Lyndsey currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts, USA where she works as the Assistant Director of Global Field Education at Boston College School of Social Work.

University of Delhi, India

Mansi Babbar is Assistant Professor at University of Delhi, India. She has authored and edited books with renowned international publishers and published numerous papers in Scopus indexed and peer-reviewed journals of international repute. Additionally, she has presented papers in various international conferences organized by prestigious institutions worldwide. She has undertaken research courses from University of Amsterdam, Netherlands and IESE Business School, Spain; and is presently undertaking research from one of the most prestigious and first ranked institution of the country i.e. Delhi School of Economics. She has been awarded the Blazer Color Award for her outstanding contribution towards students’ job placements and was recently invited as evaluator by Government of India for a national level event.
